The Batavia Youth Football & Cheer By-Laws

The BYF Bylaws are to governing documents for which the BYF Executive Board shall operate.
The BYF Executive Board has a right to amend the BYF By-Laws when they see the need, provided they follow the rules of the By-Laws to do so.
YOU, as a parent/guardian of a BYF participant are expected to have read the BYF By-Laws to keep yourself informed of how the BYF Executive Board is governed.

BYF By-Laws changes were submitted, read at three meetings (Per By-Laws Rules), then to be passed by the 2024 BYF Executive Board at the May 2024 Monthly Board Meeting.

Coaches Forms

All Current & Prospective Coaches for BYF MUST fill out a Football Coach or Cheer Coach Application.

Make sure when you download the application, you download the one specific to football or cheer.
ALL ASSISTANT COACHES (Football & Cheer) WILL USE THE SAME APPLICATION.

Returning 2024 Approved Coaches will get preferential consideration for Coaching in the 2024 season but not guaranteed.

Batavia Youth Football & Cheer reserves the right to accept or refuse any applications submitted.

Batavia Youth Football & Cheer reserves the right to approve or disapprove any Coach Application with or without explanation.  

ALL APPROVED COACHES WILL HAVE A BACKGROUND CHECK THROUGH AVERITY PRIOR TO COACHING.

2024 BYF Coach Background Check You MUST use this link to have your background checked. There is a $13.99 fee and will be the sole cost of the applicant. 

The results of the background check will be the private information of Batavia Youth Football & Cheer and will not be shared with anyone else. The results of the background check may disqualify a Coach applicant.
